Eric Crowe is the first husband of Kate Connor. He was also a Demon Hunter. He is the father of Alison Elizabeth Crowe and died when she was nine years old. He came back from the dead in the form of David Long, a chemistry teacher at Alison Elizabeth Crowe's school.
Eric Crowe also kept secrets from his wife while he was alive. He kept in contact with the Vatican and remained an active Hunter without telling anyone. When this is discovered, Kate Connor feels betrayed.
