The Choosing Rituals begin with a parade and series of re-enactments of Sarl history. They are then followed by a series of contests of strength and bravery. Any many passing the tests is counted as a worthy candidate to become husband of the Exalted Warrior, and the Exalted Warrior is expected to chose a mate from among the victors.
